Procurement Coordinator

We are hiring for a Procurement Coordinator

Experience: (Candidates having international experience, flexibility to work with 3 time zones: US, EU, and China)

Purchase Order (PO) process coordination

  1. Request and collect updated pricing, delivery time and packaging requirements from existing suppliers before preparing POs in accordance with Company guidelines
  2. Coordinate the PO issuance process with the Supplier and Company by ensuring all requirements are met by suppliers and their proforma invoices are complete and approved before issuing for Company approval
  3. Ensure suppliers meet their commitments in terms of price, lead-time, documentation requirements after PO acceptance
  4. Communicate, record and update accurately and timely Estimated Ready to Ship dates to all relevant stakeholders
  5. Coordinate the packaging requirements with Company and Supplier
  6. Coordinate the payment process between Company and Supplier
  7. Coordinate the Quality & Inventory Control Checks with supplier
  8. Coordinate with the freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs clearance agents, shipments pickups, quotes, cross boarder transportation and customs clearance until delivered to Amazon or other designated destination
  9. Communicate, record and update accurately and timely Estimated Arrival Dates dates to all relevant stakeholders
  10. Receive the PO in Netsuite and collect proof(s) of deliveries at different locations 
  11. Act as the custodian of the PO files containing all PO related information
  12. Other activities as directed by company

Calculation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) per PO

  1. Ensures all necessary information and supporting documents are available for each PO to calculate the COGS per unit.
  2. Populates templates to support COGS

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. BS Degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, engineering, economics, etc.
  2. years professional experience in purchasing and cross-border logistics
  3. Knowledge and experience dealing with Chinese/Asian suppliers
  4. Strong understanding of ERP systems and supply chain software
  5. Advanced computer skills, Excel experience mandatory
  6. Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  7. Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Passion for excellence – Thrives in fast-paced environments – Exceptionally poised under pressure.
